CTAS offers technical consulting and assistance in every aspect of county government including finance, budgeting, legal, environmental, highways and public works, property assessment, public safety, and more.

We offer two major training programs, the County Officials Certificate Training Program and the Certified County Finance Officer Program, as well as several online certificate programs. 

We provide many web-based resources to support our technical consulting including an electronic library of valuable information (e-Li), private act compilations, indexes of acts, sample resolutions, and more.

CTAS works with several associations representing county officials to better serve the interests of Tennessee county government, and acts as a link between Tennessee counties and other governmental entities.
